Literature Text

I am everything that came before me, I am the collected mess of what they are. I must keep up in all of their footsteps. I am this, this is me, I can't hide, I can't run, I can't cower, I can only try to raise above them. I am this, this is me, I can't hate, I can't blame, I can only travel forward. I am this, this is me, I can't have hope, I can't have love, I can't have truth, I must move with only myself. I am this, this is me, I can't sulk, I can't cry, I can't shake this away, I can only live while I keep on dying.
I laugh at everything around me, there is nothing that cares for me anymore, I don't mind. I was left long ago, I was torn from every moment, ever second of all other living truth. I am myself, I'm not them, they are me, I lead them, they just came first, walked forward without knowledge that they were born from my very existence, they exist because of my birth. They are my fault, but it's not my fault that they are. She is me, and I am her. She does not know it as I approach, as I near her sweet, ever sweet innocence, love, voice. I step to her, I lean over, I let my cloak fall down, and I am nothing as I infect, as I destroy. I become the abandoned. She becomes the broken, the hurt, the ruined, the destroyed, and then she becomes me and I become her. I whisper to her my words, I force her to believe the truth because after all that's what we are all, when we are combined, when we are put together. We are the dark truth, the plague. We are this. This is us. We can't hide, we can't run, we can't cower, we can only try to raise above them. We can't hate, we can't blame, we can only travel forward. We can't have hope, we can't have love, we can't have truth, we must move with only ourselves. We can't sulk, we can't cry, we can't shake this away, we can only live while we keep on dying. We are dying fast.
Here's the excerpt for today, kind of abstract. It comes from chapter fourteen, and it's probably my favorite part in all that I've written so far.
